“Other” must be people who will be voting for Fred no matter what.

31 percent on McCain’s side. How can that be? I thought they could not vote.

How can Democraps vote in a closed primary?
To: Plutarch
Look at the numbers for McLame and the independents and democrats. Without them McLame does not have a chance.

Common theme - Mitt runs in LAST PLACE against Independents -- the swing voters the nominee will need to win the general election.
Mitt's numbers with independents and Reagan Democrats are horrendous. They really dislike his slick used car salesman, Clintonian lying and parsing of words and refusal to take a firm stand.
There's no way he can win a general election matchup against Hillary or Obama.

They can’t - stupid poll. Look at the Republican numbers - Romney is well ahead of McCain.

Florida is a closed primary. Can someone explain this?

This poll should read...
McCain 22.6
Romney 29.9
It’s a little irresponsible to be polling the other party in a closed primary.

I thought Florida was a closed primary. If so why are democrats listed in this poll?

Wait ‘til both parties have their candidates. The Independents will have to make a different decision than they are making now.

Plutarch can you figure why they show dems and independents voting in a republican primary? something is really wrong with this.

Rudy is barely ahead of Huckabee--who was a virtual unknown nationally a couple of months ago!!!
How embarrassing (given Rudy's incredible name recognition and the fact that he has virtually LIVED down there for the last two months campaigning)....lol

i am worried that they’ve excised the RATS and Indy’s and the final results are still 23.3 to 23.2, which means this race is extremely fragile and tight.

OK, look at the internals. 1.5% of 300 is about 5 votes, the majority (about 22) of that number came from Democrats.
I doubt that Democrats are voting for Fred.
